I work every day to build a better world. A world where we take action to tackle climate change. A world where education and culture are invested in. A world where we fight for human rights and rule of law. A world where we make the economy sustainable for both people and planet.

I’ve been working to promote these goals as a member of the European Parliament since July 2019. Before that I was a party leader for the Finnish Greens, Minister of Environment in Finland and for 12 years as a member of the Finnish Parliament.
